Innovation and growth: two key concepts to go out of the global crisis.
After many years as chief economist at BusinessWeek, Michael Mandel left BusinessWeek in december 2009. He is a mix between an economist (Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University and assistant professor at New York University "Stern School of Business" in the 80's) and a journalist (from the 90's until 2009 at BusinessWeek).
Now, he started new personal projects. Among them: a venture which combines economic journalism and education (under costruction). As from december 2009, he started the Blog: "Mandel on Innovation and Growth". The subjects are: technological, corporate, business and social innovation; growth and the different kinds of growth; economic statistics; economic and financial reporting.
