Il 18 e 19 settembre 2025 a Roma, nella sede della Banca d’Italia, avrà luogo la quattordicesima edizione della conferenza internazionale Economics of Payments.
Economisti, ricercatori, operatori del settore bancario e policymakers possono presentare proposte di papers sui seguenti temi:

- Means of payment choices, their implication for households and corporate portfolios, their evolution.
- Central Bank Digital Currencies.
- The financial stability implications of retail and wholesale payment systems.
- Cross-border payments, including interlinking of payment systems across borders.
- Payments fraud, current mitigation tools, and innovations to combat fraud.
- Payment privacy, security, and cyber risk.
- Innovation in retail and wholesale payment systems including their consequences on monetary policy.
- Financial market infrastructures, their evolution, the risk they face, how they face them, their supervision and regulation.
