By number of italian people, London is now the seventh italian city: there are more than half a million italians living in the United Kingdom, and most of them live in London’s area.
And a newcomer is now arrived in the networking industry for global italians: Eat Drink Love Italian.
Launched by The Family Officer Group, this project aims to be a dynamic format of events for high-quality small and medium companies started by Italians in London, in the United Kingdom and in the rest of the world. Among supporters of the initiative: Italian Embassy in London and Anica-Associazione Nazionale Industrie Cinematografiche, Audiovisive e Multimediali.
The main areas of interest are: food, wine and beverages, tourism, design, art, cinema, fashion, fashion outlets, luxury properties and hotels, social activities. And the conferences are open to the public: the first event is a two day meeting in Chelsea on december 18-19 aimed to show some of the italian business excellence in London, with the presence of the Italian Ambassador in London, Pasquale Terracciano. Among other activities, Eat Drink Love Italian supports two valuable charities in London: Scuola Italiana a Londra (Italian School in London) and St. Peter’s Project.
We all know that London is one of the most expensive and competitive cities on Earth, but it’s also true that it is a real window to the world and an important market for italian companies. Therefore, London & Made in Italy are always a good idea.
