In italian language, arcobaleno means rainbow.

And the world of creativity is a rainbow made of many colors. As an example, the sector of design is a combination of creativity, functionality and innovation.

In the last days, architecture and design magazine Dezeen.com reported news about the launch of L'ArcoBaleno.com: the new online project by Ambra Medda, one of the most well-known businesswomen in design and creativity.

I interviewed her in october 2012, in italian language and for this Blog.

L'ArcoBaleno starts as an online place to explore, discover and collect the most relevant design in the world and there is the possibility to sign-up for early access.

At the launch of the website, Ambra Medda said:"L'ArcoBaleno will reflect the entire spectrum of design: not only collectible objects but also fashion, food, music, architecture, art and technology. Our hope is that it will influence the global design conversation, and inspire and engage collectors, curators and devotees of creative fields".
