Science and filmmaking: a couple not so strange

Science

Are you looking for an event that combines science and filmmaking? The Imagine Science Films Festival can be a good answer, if you are in New York and in New Jersey (Usa) in the next days (october 11 – 18, 2013).

Storytelling, narrative structures and visual communication are among the main features of this festival, one of the few in the world to be founded and directed by a team of scientists (founder and artistic director: Alexis Gambis, Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and filmmaker). This year, the festival will explore how data are translated into cinematic stories. Film line-up : here.

Audiovisual media can be a good way to spread science themes and the couple 'science and filmmaking' is not so strange.
